Founded in 2004 by Jeanne Sissel Thomsen and Christina Edelbo, the Sissel Edelbo brand combines prints and Scandinavian design to allow true traditional Indian Saris to live on and tell their story.

The two creators, passionate about Indian culture, go to the country themselves several times a year.

Sissel Edelbo recycles its Saris in traditional Indian workshops, reviving these garments in an eco-responsible and sustainable perspective, each piece is made of 100% recycled fabric.
